I have submitted my DS-160 but have changed my plans to apply for B2. I haven’t taken the interview appointment or paid the fee. Do i need to cancel my DS-160 ? if so how ?

There is no method to cancel a DS-160 form after final submission. What you can do is simply start a new DS-160 form and use that number in the UStraveldocs website to make payment and take an interview date.
